Abstract:

Presented at the 2008 Measuring Child and Family Outcomes Conference.

In this session, presenters from Indiana and Colorado described the key elements of their cross-system child outcomes measurement work. They outlined steps they took to create an integrated system involving Part C, 619, pre-K, Head Start, and child care. Strategies included the development of a comprehensive advisory group and the identification of shared beliefs, goals, and needs. Presenters then facilitated a discussion with session participants around barriers and bridges to a comprehensive EC outcomes measurement system.
